We're still roasting down in the South. Forgotten what rain looks like. Grass is all burnt up. Not complaining though after the awful winter.

Out on the patio at the moment, streaming TV on the lappy. Good thing we have our own router with a decent range.

I'm certainly not complaining, we've waited long enough for this glorious weather, first time in my life I have a proper tan (not all over tho Mr LM).:D

Sorry Tinky but l was thinking more of the Southern shires and the South East rather then the South West but thank you for correcting me..:)

Hoping Glaagow/Scotland gets some more sun soon.

It's just grey and humid now with temp sitting at 19.

I will suffer next week, no respite with 9 hour days, in a building with 2 foot thick walls.

In the summer it absorbs the heat and radiates it inside, in winter is get freezing.

Last Monday it was 30C in my office at 7:15 am :o

We can get quite used to the Mediterranean way of life. :)

Still out on the patio. 23C. Too hot in the house. Gonna watch a film shortly: Appleseed Alpha.

I'll put the air-con on in the bedroom later.

Still 18 degrees now.

Way too warm to sleep.

Couldn't agree more and this could go on for months meaning the hottest summer for 350 years.

Normally i hate it raining, but please give me some rain as i haven't seen much of it in months, although i drizzled for 30mins last Friday, but evaporated before it hit the ground.

We've been rehearsing this evening for a festival over the weekend. Our practice room is pretty much a concrete box with no windows, valve amps, keyboards, mixer and power amp for the PA. Well over 30 degrees in there, probably pushing on for 35... Not nice.

l was looking at quite a few long range forecasts and apart from the odd thunderstorm the hot weather is here to stay as far as the eye can see well into the 4th week of August.

We've had the air-con on most nights recently. Keeps the bedroom at a nice comfy 15C and low humidity. Bit noisy on full blast but a good nights sleep is worth it.

Fortunately the main bedroom faces North so doesn't get cooked during the day.
