Now who would you believe has a VMNG300 the other 2plus this one or just the other 2, I know which I would believe.

Now if they are on 100Mb it will fail one day in the none to distant future so nothing to be proud of anyway and they will have to get a Superhub or have no connection.:D

So if he is insisting that he is using a VMNG300 he cannot be on 100Mb as that is not allowed and he would be the only customer connected in this way.

I feel this thread is aimed at the VMNG300 wanabee's who want 100Mb without the Superhub.

rubbish, you're are genuine wrong! you can use 100Mb on vmng300 as it does support 100Mb!

It you that are genuine wrong ;)

It may support the speed but VM will not installed 100Mb without the Superhub.

So, it strange as tech guy swap the vmng300 modem from my superhub as they say to me that superhub cannot handle wi-fi performance well with a loss of 50% of speed reduced! Instead they use vmng300 modem.

I have to wait until thursday see what the tech guy say about vmng300 modem on my 100 meg (i hope he not take it away and put my superhub back on)

---------- Post added at 15:31 ---------- Previous post was at 15:29 ----------

I am looking for DSL/Cable modem bonding together to gain more speed eg:

Cable 100/10 plus DSL 7/0.3 to make it possible 107/10.03 is it possible do that ?

Got my ebilling for tv xl with sky sports & movies HD, phone xl and broadband 100 cost me £527.68 (with partial service and charge for 2 x v+ hd boxes) :(

you cant bond it, but you could use load balancing, unless there are multiple users in the house, this would be pointless, as the load balancing router would always direct traffic to the 100mb line.

anyway load balancing routers are expensive

Well that's nonsense as I still get full speed over wireless with my superhub. Techs aren't always known for their correct info.

Also over £500! have they decided to charge you for all the installs of all the changes in your broadband speed? Lmao.

Re: Tech Guy did it perfect

they charge me for extra boxes (v+ HD)

There should be a cable forum warning automatically placed at the bottom of all of Telford Cable's posts.

"Cable Forum Warning" Reading and believing any of Telford Cables posts will rot you brains and make you look foolish

Oddly I couldn't get full speed on wireless at 2.4GHz or 5GHz on that PoS even in the same room.

Can't get full upstream due to congestion but disabled wireless on the Superhub, installed a shiny new E4200 and suddenly...

Download Speed: 50727 kbps (6340.9 KB/sec ) Upload Speed: 1371 kbps (171.4 KB/sec )

http://www.speedtest.bbmax.co.uk/res...319&v=12782831

Incidentally even at 5GHz and using the dongle I still couldn't break ~30Mbit/s.

I note jb66 also commenting on Superhub wireless performance. Given he's a residential tech I would speculate he's in a better place to comment on it than yourself working in Business.

I appreciate yourself and Masque have absolutely flawless Superhubs that never need reloading, deliver perfect latency and offer fabulous wireless performance from the other side of the globe. Some aren't as fortunate.

were all your slow speedtest's done over wireless none at all over wired?

God no, wouldn't post dodgy wireless as a measure of WAN performance.
