I'm actually quite surprised by Clegg, he's coming across as very credible.

No Nick, there you go again trying to score the same point over and over and over and over..... He's a like a retarded parrot.

No he isn't. Look at the woman who asked the question. He's addressing her directly (Cameron and Brown seem to have forgotten her entirely), and she is nodding and smiling back at him. He's playing a very canny game.

It will be embarrassing if Clegg finishes above either of these two in the poll. Although I hope the BBC have slightly more class than to shove a instant poll in our face the moment it ends. Last week Sky sounded far to excited about the poll.

Brown seems to be totally discounting Clegg altogether ,it's almost as if Brown doesn't think Clegg is there

Eg the events of yesterday would have had no possible effect on those votes. This means that the legally required gap between calling an election and it taking place, is meaningless.

I had exactly the same thought when I posted my old Mum's postal ballot off yesterday.

That's because he doesn't want to upset him. This time next week, the only possible chance of Labour having any sort of power or influence in this country will be if they can form some sort of agreement with Nick. There is absolutely no chance of Labour winning and Gordon knows it. But he hasn't lost hope of forming a Lib/Lab coalition.

Cameron as well....Maybe because the 'surge' has stopped and they think the Lib Dems are a non-entity on the Economy.

Might be nice if people thought of the country and others, not just themselves or their particular political viewpoint.

But then there wouldn't be any politicians to vote for. ;)

so, Brown has increased the number of apprentiships to 200,000 ...i would ask where are the people going to serve these apprentiships given our manufacturing industries have been decimated

I like Cameron though, Surprised Brown has been this poor.

See my post above. ;)

Although I think the Tories stand a rather better chance of getting an outright majority, they will still be thinking and planning hard about going into coalition with Nick.

Cameron is coming across quite well this evening actually. Brown has been a very weak one-trick pony constantly repeating the point about taking money out of the economy, a weak point which Cameron is correctly answering by noting that minimising taxes keeps money in the economy.

If Labour come third I don't think Nick will team up with them - he has already hinted that he wouldn't back the losing party in 3rd place.
