Lancashire cricket wrote to all paid up members a couple of weeks ago. Basically pleading with those of us who had already renewed our membership not to ask for a refund.

In return we can become 'Loyal' members.:)

This entitles us to a 25% reduction in next years membership, 20% off any purchases from the club shop, priority booking for any major games and we also get our names emblazoned on the wall of the new stand that is being built to replace the Red Rose stand.

You can always rely on the British weather to have its say as 2 overs in and they are off again.

The way it is going there will be more hours lost to the weather then there will be of play in the match.:td:

Quote:

BBC Weather's Tomasz Schafernaker: "It's not changing for the next few days. On the radar further drizzle is upstream heading straight for Southampton. The weather is stagnant and not moving - I've got no good news!

"We are going to have to wait two-three days. Cloud is one of the most difficult thing to forecast. There is a possibility it will break up but there is a risk this will continue. This air hasn't moved, the winds are light and there is even a risk of thunderstorms, but I think that is a little further north than Southampton."

5 overs left then maybe... Lazy gits !

Why bring Root back in, he was out of touch in all of his recent innings. Dawid Malan must be spitting feathers. And Roy has had no cricket for ages either.

Roy and Root have been totally useless in this series, a huge blunder by the selectors.
