Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
Mike Ashley looks set to re-list Newcastle United as for sale.
Ashley wants £267 million for Newcastle United. £167 million likely as club value and £100 million as what he's owed personally as the money that wrote off Newcastle's debts. To compare we'll take Manchester City who were last sold for £200 million and Liverpool who were last sold for £300 million, so £267 million for Newcastle United is a very big ask, fair enough you can factor in the stadium and potential after the 5th place finish but one mistake and a bomb goes off like it did with the sacking of Keegan followed by Relegation. It's not stable enough to call for £267 million. Statement released from the NUST Quote:

Balotelli is a central striker but only played there about 20% of the time, and then Mancini criticised him saying he should do better when he was on the left wing. It was telling he scored in the games he was played up front. And then dropped again. A side-note to the same point, Mancini's rotation policy was bizarre. He would chop and change up front (partly because 4 strikers was too much) constantly, but would play Yaya every single game to the point of exhaustion. Quote:
I personally, would just get a young guy and have Aguero as main striker, Dzeko as next guy (would help him as he likes being *the* main man and not 4th choice). |

He was vilified as he was an idiot, both off the park and on it. He cost us points with his petulance on the pitch, and embarrassment off it. Nothing to do with his colour. When that did happen (most often abroad) it was done equally to other black players. Yes he was a good player, but brought more trouble then advantage. He only played when interested, and wanted back to Italy |

There is subconscious racism against black players. Balotelli, Richards and Yaya particularly. This is a simplistic and sensationalist view. He is a central striker. He scored when played in that role. That he didn't play well shoved on the left wing, is because he was incorrectly played not because he wasn't interested. |

That was a lesson in inferring something...lesson 2 At this rate, quit going to school, I will home teach you online..cable forum style (similar to gangnam style, without the dancing or the trousers) He didn't play well because he wasn't interested in the team, or the team dynamic...he was wholly interested in himself (lesson 3, proper use of reflexive pronoun) Now send the £30 to my paypal account..and the lessons will continue To incentivise, the next lessons (if you pay) will be on world war 2...I am skipping WW1, until I finish the dvd box set (WW2 will be based on "Combat" tv series, which I preferred to "Band of Brothers") |
Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
Quote:
Surely he was put on the left wing because he wasn't the best striker at the club? You're playing the racism card without any proof at all. He let the team down more than once on the pitch and then did stupid things off the pitch which was never going to help his case. Whereas Aguero only ever did positive things for the club and deserved to play regularly ahead of Balotelli. Also i don't think what happens off the pitch is irrelevant if you're fighting your own team mates and manager in training sessions ;) |

Mancini caused the fight with Balotelli, who had just tackled Sinclair. Mancini overreacted and escalated nothing into a drama. It does not matter what colour car he has, whether he let fireworks off in his home (he scored 2 goals in the next game 36 hours later) or whether he visited strip joints. Wayne Rooney pays for sex off grannies, he also smokes like Mario and pays hotel staff £200 to get fags. Unlike Rooney, Mario has the perfect physique. Balotelli is in my opinion, (was) City's best striker. He will prove his worth in the years to come. |

Not sure why you put rooney into the mix..when the conversation is about ballotelli and his performances on and off the park (see, interchangeable, alphabetic order was a joke) How can he prove his worth? He didn't like manchester, and playing here. On that point, I can't blame him..sunnier climes are always better (unfortunately I can't get a job paying same, or I would go) If you are saying he is a good striker...I didn't say he wasn't...I said he didn't do it enough for city So I'm happy for you to tell "dad" (or do you call him "papa", which could work for either love child or lover) that we think he is a good striker...but shame he never produced the goods here And final point...you are over playing the racist card. That was never the issue, an idiot will always get stick...I put him into same camp as joey barton (though messrs barton is particular disgusting) |

Mannone deal confirmed
Published: 03 July, 2013 by Stuart Vose Arsenal keeper joins Black Cats. Sunderland have signed Arsenal goalkeeper Vito Mannone. The 25-year-old Italian has penned a two-year deal on Wearside and has joined up with his new team-mates ahead of this weekend’s trip to Italy. The news follows Monday’s triple arrival of Cabral, Valentin Roberge and Modibo Diakite. Mannone initially joined Arsenal as a 17-year-old from Italian side Atalanta in 2005. He made his debut at the age of 21 and represented the Gunners in the Barclays Premier League and UEFA Champions League, making 15 appearances in all. The former Italian U21 international also spent time on loan at Barnsley in 2006, making four appearances for the Tykes. He also had two spells at Hull, playing 11 games in the 2010-11 season plus a further 23 during the following campaign. http://www.safc.com/news/team-news/2...deal-confirmed welcome Vito |

CHELSEA SIGN MARK SCHWARZER Posted on: Tue 09 Jul 2013 Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer on a free transfer. The Australian international has signed a one-year contract that will keep him with the club until next summer's World Cup in Brazil, for which he helped his country seal qualification last month. 'It's a phenomenal club,' he said upon signing. 'It's one of the biggest and best clubs in the world, and it's an honour to sign for Chelsea. I didn't take much convincing to come here.' Schwarzer, 40, brings with him a wealth of experience after more than 15 years in England with Bradford City, Middlesbrough and most recently Fulham, and last season became the first overseas player to have made 500 Premier League appearances. Born in Sydney, Schwarzer began his career with Marconi Stallions before moving to Europe with German side Dynamo Dresden in 1994, which was followed by a short spell in the Bundesliga with Kaiserslautern. A move to England followed in 1996, with Bradford City the platform from which Schwarzer signed for Middlesbrough, going on to play more than 400 times in 11 years, lifting the League Cup in 2003 and appearing in the 2006 UEFA Cup final against Sevilla. In 2008, he moved south to west London with Fulham, spending five years at Craven Cottage, where he made 220 appearances. Schwarzer made his international debut in 1994, and has since represented Australia 108 times, including at the 2006 and 2010 World Cups. http://www.chelseafc.com/news-articl...mark-schwarzer |
