By that time, I won't care - I will be full of the Christmas Spirit.... :D

Seriously, though, I have been stocking up for the last few months, so have stashed away 30 bottles of various red wines, 36 white (mainly Chablis & Sancerre), 24 bottles of fizz ,and various Dessert wines, Sherries, Single Malts, Cognacs, Ports, Gins, Vodkas - I will stock up on beer next weekend.

We have 10 people staying for Christmas dinner, so important not to run out... ;)

l can seriously understand this as when we were younger there was 12 of us at Christmas and my late stepmum would have to serve 6 of us first for Christmas dinner and then the other six and then once that was all over then we would go into the second frontroom which had a bar built in and that was fully stocked.:D

Soup may be easy to make, but a soup maker is even easier. You just throw the ingredients in select the option of smooth or chucky and it cooks it within 28 mins. No need to check the pot or stir it. Also can make smoothies or milkshakes in it.

So so much easier.

Careful with that, as it isn't a common tablet in the UK, and i have seen someone say the device comes rooted so you can't install Skygo on it or whatever it is called.

Really low resolution on it too, but if it all works for you then it is all good. :)

Osem 01-01-2014 21:55

Re: What have you just bought?

Yeah I'm aware it's not high end but it's very much sufficient for our use and we don't watch Sky output so that doesn't matter either. Don't know anything about rooting but it's a whole lot better than the trusty Viewsonic 3G tablet it replaces and cheap enough not to be a major bind if it gets broken... :)

Yup, that's where I bought it from, too. Over £50 cheaper than Currys and John Lewis, over £40 cheaper than Argos. I've been after one for a while, and was waiting for a reasonable price drop. It'll be great to finally have 1080p, plus the smart features and 3D will be handy.
