Channel 4 has confirmed that walker Laura will be replaced by a new housemate.

Following the 20-year-old sales assistant's departure early this morning, there has been speculation online that another late entrant may join the show on Friday.

Confirming reports, the official BB Twitter account said: "So it's goodbye to Laura but we can reveal she'll be replaced by a new housemate in the future."

Fans on the DS forums and Twitter have called for one of the potential housemates from Friday's live show - Joel, Megan or Samuel - to be used as a replacement. However, it has not been confirmed whether the new contestant will be selected from that list.

Laura walked out this morning after less than a week on the show, complaining that she felt "overwhelmed" by the experience.

I'd also bet money that if he does, it could get ugly between him and Steve.

I think he will be a bit up himself but then I could be wrong. I wanted Noel to be put in and cause a stir and also he dont like Steve so that would have been a bonus for me. He would have been my 2nd fav to Ben. Hope Ben isn't going tonight. This eviction is a hard one to call and would have loved if JJ was the one that was evicted but he wont.

I can see most of the housemates reacting to Jedward. they'll see them and say oh no, not them two couple of masters. and walk back in the house shutting the door behind them.

I think because Noel is black and nobody has really seen what Steve is capable of being like. they can't take the risk that he might mouth off at Noel, and a big punch up resulting.

Would be funny if Sam did wind up Steve up time. I think from watching the show up till now he knows that Steve thinks he owns the house and he also sees the way that he is with the girls. He better do what he said on Bblb and wind up the ones in the house because if Ben goes then it's really going to be a boring house

He is all mouth. once he goes in there he will be too overwhelmed to do anything. but if he does do anything it'll be so much out of place for his character. he'll look awkward and feel uncomfortable.

the others will just think that's what he's been told to do, or may even think that he's doing it because he's come in as a rebel like all the others that promise to be.

Since Ben was voted out it has being boring. If Sam does stir things things up in the house and make it interesting again then that will do for me but at the moment he doesn't seem to be doing what he said he would do. The only thing he did yesterday was that was interesting try and put John James on the spot on how real the fake romance and he wouldn't answer. Other than that he was as boring as dishwater like the rest of them in there. I hope Corin wins but it looks like bb wants John James to win :mad:

I think they wll be voting for him to stay and also he could win the save and replace task. If it's a double next week they might not have to nom al all and it might be just be up to the public who they will want out of all the housemates and it will be between JJ if he dont go this week and Dave if he is not gone either. Sam is safe either way

Ya I know I do have a choice to not watch the hightlights but I keep hoping that we will get shown what the other housemates are doing as well not hightlights with just JJ and josie.
