2nd 512K took 1096 ms = 467.2 KB/sec, approx 3850 Kbps, 3.76 Mbps
3rd 512K took 1111 ms = 460.8 KB/sec, approx 3797 Kbps, 3.71 Mbps
4th 512K took 1074 ms = 476.7 KB/sec, approx 3928 Kbps, 3.84 Mbps
Did take a modem reboot. as my ip address is actualy on NTL poole for some reason.

There's nothing illegal about it at all. *sigh*

The quote for service is UP TO 4meg - and 2 meg certainly comes into UPTO 4meg. WTF is it about people having to go to 'legalities' over something they know nothing about? The way the upgrades are happening, it's not possible to code the billing system with tariffs for some with 2meg, and other with 4meg.

Well I have given in... I have brought my sleeping bag and a pillow and am now living in the office... not the most comfortable situation, but hey, the internet connection is fast! ;)
