100% correct.

Not sure is good, but SOME (nowhere near all) who were so angry and convinced that VM had goofed over BT Sport were not terribly nice to those who were calmly saying let us wait and see so am gloating in a non gloaty way.... ;)

Hi following the signing of the deal for BT Sport and ESPN we're now working on getting all the channels live on TV Anywhere:

BT Sports 1 and 2 should be live on the online version of TV Anywhere now, and ESPN will be live there this afternoon.
BT Sports 1 and 2 and ESPN will be live on the iOS app either this afternoon or tomorrow morning.
Thanks

So ESPN America programming has just shifted to ESPN, what other sports will be shown on the channel if any?

Do Sky or BT have a cooling off period? I wonder how many VM customer who jumped ship will use that as an excuse to come back to VM if they do?

I don't see why some people are surprised at it being on XL. BT would have lost out on millions without giving it to Virgin and will be getting much more money on a guaranteed 3 year contract on the XL package than they would as a stand alone subscription, as well as the extra ad revenue from the additional viewers.

All the delays were purely to get as many customers to switch to BT as possible. Praise Virgin all you want but I reckon BT had them in the palm of their hands all along and probably got exactly what they wanted.

Most of the old ESPN programming like MLS Ligue 1 Serie A etc is on BT Sport now...

Yeah UK Law states 28 days

Not true BT had the upper hand. They wanted a subscription system on VM as they keep trumpeting their desire to sell their broadband. Quote from Telegraph in late July:

"On top of its historic strength in landlines, BT is investing £2.5bn to upgrade its broadband network to fibre, and has made a foray into TV, through YouView. BT Sport is designed to help attract and retain broadband customers. “Fibre is the absolute heart of our strategy,” says Petter, whose remit covers telephony, broadband and TV."

Or they didn't have VM in any palm anyway. This deal smacks of a climbdown to get more advertising money and viewers rather than the oft stated aim (which doesn't seem to be working if figures are to be believed) of using the sport to sell fibre....

Actually it's 7 working days if sold over the phone or online (technically it can be less if the services are activated before the end of that period). Anything more is down to the company you are dealing with

It takes two to tango, let's just thank both sides for using common sense,it does prevail sometimes.
