Unconfirmed: RTE Radio launches in all areas?

Virgin Media's Channel lineup for May 2013 is now online.

But I did note that Virgin have got RTE Radio down as broadcasting in all areas of Virgin Media.

But as far as I know RTE Radio is broadcasting in old Telewest areas on Channel 917.

In a 'phone call last night, it was mentioned in passing that a "couple of minor channels" should be added this week.

Perhaps it's the two radio channels that are on former Telewest areas only?? RTE is one, isn't the other the World Radio Network??

From the way they were talked about & played down, I assumed that they were shopping channels.

I can't check my box as I'm currently not at home.

A) Got updated today from insiders and as of 12.40pm no new channels are set to launch as far as my insiders knows.

B) Only Two channels are not in all areas of Virgin Media right now and you are on the ball - RTE Radio and WRN Radio (Old Telewest areas only).

We cannot complain about no new channels presently to launch as we have done damm well on that front so far this year :)

I will not complain if Virgin launch no more channels.

but if they get sky atlantic..might think about switching again

I do know that The Active Channel is set to launch - but no date has been confirmed yet.

I still think something will come out of Sky Broadband using VM's cable system for some of their BB - but that is in my opinion and not something I know for a fact :)
