Really heavy here in east London. Has been for a couple of hours at least and its settling.

Did rain a bit before it snowed so i'm sure there is plenty of ice under the snow. Looks pretty though.

A bit more light snow overnight, turned into slush and ice by lunchtime, the roads are fine but no grit on the pavements so they are treacherous underfoot.

Mostly cleared here now, though everywhere is wet and it's to get pretty damn cold overnight, yay! :erm:

We have snow on ice which is again freezing. Very treacherous under foot and on side roads. I was quite scared driving this morning and it would take a lot to pursuade me to go out there again tonight.

I heard on my local Heart radio station the Met Office has issued a severe weather warning of about 5-10cm of snow but i'm not sure where and it'd not snowing in Cambridge....yet.

Been coming down hard for the last 3 hours in north west london pilling ontop of the old snow. its been snowing here everyday, on and off for the last week.

The crunchy snow ice is now setting rock hard.... no way am I going to drive now...

I took a trip down the lochside and into town this morning ... I don't know which was worse, the three days' accumulation of sheet ice at our end of the road, or the several inches of drifting snow at the other end.

I just love it here, microclimate in action. One day I may go back to school and do a degree in meteorology. Fascinating stuff.

Coming down thick and fast here now, if this keeps up there'll be trouble on thr back roads in the morning.....
