Then my box rebooted at about 5.30am.

There are certainly changes under way, possibly connected to the developments I changes I mentioned in my post on May 10th.

Also, I've been informed that Talking Pictures TV has been added to the Service Description Table, almost like a lottery win? ;)

Unfortunately, I've not seen any detailed scans at this stage, so I'll post more info when/if I get it.

There was talk of the brand new Virgin Media Store accessed through the V6, Tivo and even a smartphone app launching. When I read about this, I kinda assumed that the store would make 4K UHD movies available to buy/rent, but it's all very quiet.....

I would expect to see some UHD on demand material arriving before much longer, although nothing has yet been announced. I doubt we will see the launch of any UHD channels this year.

I agree, OB. Anything in terms of UHD will be in the form of on-demand and/or buy & rent from the store.

Even on-demand things like the Blacklist would be a great bonus

Yes, a UHD channel would take up so much bandwidth, I can't see many (if any) channels being launched on VM, ever. I suspect that all UHD content will be streaming and on demand - even the sport, when it eventually comes.

Just guessing but I'd imagine there's far more Apple TV boxes out there than there is TiVo.
