One suspects you have your big roaring log fire on and your nice private bar stocked up for weeks of merry celebration Mr K.;)

You know you’re having a good night out when your restaurant bill is split 30/70 food/drink (and we both had two courses and coffee).

Home now with a nice (large) single Malt.

Broadband back on, TV back on, but for some reason despite me telling them my phone line needed activating it didn't get done. Will call them in the morning, had enough of talking to an Indian call centre for one day.

Entertained my sister for lunch. I cooked Japanese: Miso soup with wakame seaweed. (Tastes better than it sounds LOL) Then Japanese pan fried chicken with green peppers and shitaki's with Mirin and soy sauce. Warmed Saké served in my authentic ceramic Saké set. My sister managed to use the chopsticks even though I offered her normal eating irons. :tu:

She really liked the food so several points up there. :)

I have a few happy thoughts today:

I'm loving seeing all the houses with there Christmas decorations up and the homes with little ones having a sign saying Santa please stop here.

My best friend at the moment is my hot water bottle it certainty helps with a sore tummy.

My son and his fiancée God daughter is out of hospital and home for Christmas, now that really is the best Christmas present ever!
