The under 23,s league is a bit of a joke TBH. As mentioned in that article the under 18 side is far more important and relevant.

Do you think enough young talent is coming through Jim?.

Well it would appear they have more chance at United than City if you read that article with five of the squad in the recent derby coming through the ranks as opposed to none from City.

Liverpool have given a couple of youngsters a chance this season but they along with most of the 'big six' don't have the greatest of records for developing their own talent, far better to let Saints do it in Liverpools' case. :p:

The trouble is people are impatient nowadays and want ready made players to come in and perform straight away.

I thought you asked a question about nurturing young talent, not money spent on underperformers.:p: As a Liverpool supporter yours is possibly the biggest glass house of all when it comes to buying turkeys.:D

Well deserved, the real manager of the season with the second lowest budget in the top four divisions.

They've done amazingly well, however they might have to invest in a job lot of deck chairs in for next season :D, their ground currently has a small capacity even for the fourth tier.

Perhaps the Emirates Stadium will lend them some seats, several thousand there rarely used.:D

:D

I read that empty but sold seats still count towards Emirates attendance figures apparently. Not sure if this applies everywhere, i'd have thought bodies through turnstiles is the only meaningful figure.

Plans for a two-week Premier League winter break could be announced before the end of this season.

At last.

Think it's a good idea and should even things up a bit with the rest of Europe.

Yes hopefully the clubs won't arrange a tour during this 2 week break.
