Sorry, I was referring to VoD content specifically rather than recordings - should have made that more clear :)

I'm pretty sure if you create a Wishlist the folder name is the Wishlist name, so there is an element of customisation.

However to specifically create and manage folders on TiVo itself would require a fairly significant rewrite from TiVo I'd expect, so I can't see that happening any time soon.

If we could create our own folders, it would certainly be an improvement. I'd like to separate out my recordings into categories eg my dramas, wife's dramas, our dramas, soaps, shows, children's, films.

That would make the task of finding recordings much easier and quicker.

I do think an ability to create folders would be amazing

Amazon seeks UK pay-TV deals as it gears up for Jeremy Clarkson and Co.

I've been wondering when the UK Amazon would follow the US Amazon on this one. I watch with interest.

I'm going to stock up on any programming that i'll lose before I downgrade as (apart from most of the Sky channels) the recordings will still be accessible afterwards.

Yes, the Wishlist folder name is the Wishlist name. I did my first Wishlist today.

What's new you handsome gents? When am I getting the new TiVo update? Why did Virgin media hint at teaming up with Netflix and then never did? Will bt sport remain in xl package next year? Isn't the contract up?

What time shall I leave work?

More questions for you all

Well first of all nobody knows when the update will come, but if you get the new TiVo in summer it will ready. Well there is some sort of parentship and the upcoming TiVo series link + works well with Netflix. With free by sport on XL being one of there big selling points then can't see why they change it

We do not see any information on deals with Virgin Media and Broadcasters but we think the BT Sport deal will end at the end of the EPL TV deal - At the end of Season 2018/2019.

Surely this will have been agreed when the deal for BT Sport Europe was agreed

This particular update won't be going to any more regions (see post 1225). You'll get a different one at some point, but the dates haven't been set yet.
