They probably will when it stops being 'free to all Sky customers'. Is it August when it is only available in the Variety Pack?

That's a good point. I think it is August it joins the Variety Pack.

Sky seem to be slowly positioning Sky 1 as a more mainstream British channel now so I suppose you could be right. Perhaps we will see a lot of content moved over to Atlantic.

News Corp's purchase of Shine will certainly be useful for British productions.

It was certainly useful for Elisabeth Murdoch or at least her bank balance ;) Shine produced a fair bit for the BBC I think , Spooks being one of them.

Yes. Sorry. My mistake :o: I meant to delete that post when I found out but got busy. I realise now I was thinking of "Mad Men" which they nicked off the BBC by throwing more money at the show's producers. :(

That would not surprise me.

That would be a pretty busy evening schedule on Sky Atlantic .

There are 7 days in the week. SkyOne & Living don't show that many shows - most are repeated two or three times per week.

MediaBoy quoted that the 500gb Tivo would launch this week and specifically released on the 11th May (today).

Has anyone heard anything more regarding this?

Had the email a while back stating that an exclusive 500gb would be offered in May, but certainly nothing yet (but there are quite a few days left in May yet).

Latest news is it is already on sale.

The TiVo 500Gb has indeed launched today and is only available to exisiting customers for the time being but is also available on TV packages lower than XL. It will be £49.95 and £40 install.

Good news it is now on sale, was just hoping that the 'exclusive email' I received was pointing towards possibly no install fee, rather than the exclusivity of the 500gb TIVO itself. Ah well.

Nice to see Media Boy still providing good info though.

14 shows. 7 days with 3 hours per night of peak time = plenty of time, especially as Lie to Me & Chicago Code have been axed and one or two of the others still have question marks over their future.

Besides, they quite clearly aren't going to move EVERY show over. The OP did say their best shows. Which would be the ones with the highest ratings.
