It's horrible the prospect of Fabregas going to Chelsea. Arsenal better spend well in the positions we do need. If so, then fine, an attacking midfielder isn't what we need. But if we don't....

Course he does, that's why he kept Torres and signed eto and eighteen million is terrible for an untested left back, Liverpool would be better of paying the extra for Shaw, at least they'll know he can handle the premier league.

Luke Shaw talented that he is not worth £30 million and the last time we paid that we got our worse signing in our history.

Two different types of players. Clement Grenier is more attacking than Morgan Schneiderlin. Why is Wenger chasing him while letting Fabregas go elsewhere ? Schneiderlin makes sense.

I think it was more about not having the players for the style Colin. We've been gagging for someone good enough for the two in front of the defence for years. Lampard was never totally suited to it. Ramires runs (and clatters) all day long and whilst Mikel will do a job in breaking up play, you're picking two from that three that never really had the creativity to start something from that position. The young Dutch lad Van Ginkel done his knee early doors and it wasn't til Matic came that we had someone able to be destructive and look to play the ball forwards. I think Fabregas next to Matic looks very interesting :)
