I still don't think there will be a 24hr linear channel more than likely UHD Sport will be accessed how it currently is on Sky with everything else available On Demand.

Your hunch is probably right MM.

Lets not forget that often VM also launch channels/services without any publicity until AFTER the launch leaving customers to discover it by themselves.

I won't be very happy if it's not going to happen as I recently renewed my Oomph package on the basis of Sky UHD coming to Virgin as they said last year.

Hope your right Dave although I'm working until late on Saturday so I would have to wait until Sunday for the footie anyway.

I've noticed over the years that Thursdays seem to be a popular day for VM announcements

New to Virgin TV Ultra HD tonight at 9pm, the American comedy Loudermilk.

As with a lot of the programmes on Virgin TV Ultra HD, it will be available to watch on 999 for XL / Full House only then in Catch Up for all customers.

Thanks, but no thanks - I find American comedy inane and not funny, so I will give it a miss.

VM advertising the restart of the EPL on HD, nothing about UHD

Is it really such a big deal? HD imo is perfectly fine for sport.

Re: UHD on Virgin Media

I notice when doing a search on the V6 for some Sky Originals they are marked as UHD but they do say HD on the info bar.

Example

Code 404
The Twilight Zone

A few movies on Sky Cinema has this also

Hopefully a sign
