I agree, they should get a good drama at a good price. I'm surprised London Live hasn't done something similar, it's just gone for old British series set in London like Misfits and Coupling. With half a million French in London plus other emigrant strongholds they could have been more adventurous and would have found some which featured London.

Bearing in mind the results of the European Elections last week, many people would beg to differ.

Not broadcasting at Media Boy HQ on Virgin Media - yet!

To my knowledge, this is the second time that a local channel has not started on time on VM.

I wonder whose fault this is, as all parties have had plenty of notice of the start date.

The remit of London live is to be london-centric, so any content about immigrants would have to be about said immigrants living, working etc in London.

do sky have enough sport to show for a five channel

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2014) Vol. 2

They barely have enough for four channels, I'm thinking it could be sky sports 3d or sky sports 4k.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2014) Vol. 2

If its 4k then sky will have about ten customers the tv is far too pricey. Sky 3D is a part time channel would it make money scents for to have a stand a loan sport 3D?.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2014) Vol. 2

sky sports are losing sport. Theyre definitely not going to have enough sport to cover 5 channels.

if they try to go down the exclusive channel road its going to be something like "sky sport classic" or "sky sport cricket" or something like that. How could they get average joe to jump from virgin to sky then average joe probably doesnt even know theyre is 4 sky sport channels never mind a new "exclusive" 5th.

It didn't make financial sense to launch sky 3d, when sky launched that channel not many people would have had a 3dtv.

Just can't see a sky sports 5 for me they don't have enough content.

Skysports 5 will be WWE network maybe?
Maybe Skys and WWEs new deal means sky run the network on their platform as a channel?

Be brilliant if its the wwe network but

1) will VM get it...
2) would we get red button access for old PPV's etc or would that be for sky customers only as the champions league was sky customers exclusive for many, many years

i'd imagine we'd get the channel eventually but never the red button access as OFCOM would never force sky to give up red button access to such a nieche "sport".

So i'll go straight to that VPN finally...

If it is wwe network and if virgin does carry it can't see it being it in hd. Of course its all speculation at this juncture.
