It pointless for us to spend millions on equipment thats going to spend the best part of 360 days a year doing nothing.

As Billy Connolly says, "there no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing."

granted but do we really have to have all the hysteria by the media surely the 4-5 reporters the beeb employed on "snow watch" this morning could have been better used on stories that matter

My god if a couple of inches of snow can bring this country to a standstill then what hope have we got ,people in Norway and Switzerland must be cracking up with laughing at us

Yep, we're laughing at England :)

Things keep working here in feet of snow :p:

Bah, we finally get our snow clouds this afternoon ... only to find they've warmed up on their way south and now it's just falling as a light drizzle.

On the plus side, we finally saw a gritter this morning. About an hour after the last of the ice and frost we've had since Thursday had melted in the sun.

Clear sky's here between Luton and Beford, temp is hovering round about 0c. More snow forcast for late tonight.

Snow from the last 2 days got eventually to about 6 inches and is still powdery, dogs absolutely love it!!

We are having a light fall of snow. It seems to be sticking to what we had yesterday and, with -4c tonight and more snow forecast for tomorrow it looks like our street,s snow ball fight might be still on. :D
