My eldest has really stepped up his training for his Charity run. He is pleased with his progress and the amount he has raised so far.

@ Jo as promised here are the photos :)

Very nice :)

Spent all afternoon at a beach BBQ on Caloundra Beach with lots of Crownies (Aussie beer), now watching Parramatta Eels vs North Queensland Cowboys Rugby League match in a pub.

#properaussiesaturday :)

Found some seriously nice Scottish black pudding in Sainsbury's friday Absolutely delicious for our breakfast this morning with the usual bacon eggs, etc.

Really must get some of the genuine Stornoway stuff. Fortunately they ship by on-line mail order.

My first introduction to black pudding was when I and my mother did a tour of the outer islands of Scotland (Skye, outer Hebrides and Orkney) and it was part of the full cooked breakfast. Whilst the Yorkshire stuff isn't bad the Scottish is so much better IMHO.

My neighbour and dear friend's daughter has just had her 1st baby, the text message reads Baby boy weighing in at 8lbs 9oz, 57cm long, born at 1am. Mother and baby both well. I'm a Gran :)

I'm so pleased for them all as they have waited what seems to be like a very long time for this little one.

Welcome to the world little man and I can't wait to meet you.

Just got a picture of him with his Daddy he is lovely.

I cannot wait till I'm a Gran, let me tell you I will be the worst Gran possible as I'm going to totally spoil all my Grandchildren. To be fair I have warned my eldest son and his fiancée of my plans :D

Just met up with our son in Melbourne, after 8 months apart - great to see him again... :D

We're spending a week with him traveling around the area, then we all fly back to the UK together (with a 2 day stop over in Dubai), for a family wedding in Kent Mid-October, then he's back to Oz for 3 months.
