It would give them a nice outlet to screen the Cahmpions League, and Europa League games they've committed to show free to air.

Believe you me Chad the amount of games they will show free to air will be minimal.

More should be added over the next month :) i don't have any information on which channels though but BBC are being mentioned quite a lot.
Also expect to start seeing HD content soon too.

Really as much as that? I think that is only current deal joint itv/sky I think when bt takes over they committed showing 1 game per team, not week.

The finals however I would assume are covered by law must be shown on FTA

Indeed that's what l understand is they are showing only one game per team and if that's the case then l think many will be disappointed.

The only thing they've publicly committed to is to show each British team once per season. I doubt there will be anything like the amount of free to air football currently available.

I would be happy to receive ONE channel via VM Anytime. After checking, my Samsung Galaxy tablet is not supported.

Do Sky support the Samsung tablets?

Do VM have any plans to extend the range of devices that Anytime is available on?

Thanks MM.

After selling Smallworld to VM (which only took about four weeks to go through), David, the former owner, has said that he thinks he could have got more money from at least one other party. The reason he didn't was because he thought that VM would be best for his customers and staff in the long term. Particularly their comittment to faster broadband and their contract with TiVo.

He's not gone mad with the money yet, only buying his wife a new car. He is looking into pursuing other business oportunities.

Interestingly, the existing Smallworld PVR can record up to four channels with it's dual tuner!

Edit: Just remembered that he once said that Disney no longer wanted to supply their channels to such a small company and he had to take tnem off. It wasn't too small for VM not to bother with was it! In any case, the only 'work' that Disney had to do was collect the monthly payments!

That's Disney for you think they are better than they actually are. It'd be helpful if their channel was even worth watching in the first place lol.

I would say with revenues in excess of $40 billion and a market cap of over $140 billion they've every right to think they're pretty good. :)
