The clubs most opposed to cost control measures are Manchester City, Chelsea and Fulham
No surprise there. I mean how else are they supposed to win anything?

Sounds like bitter Man utd fan :)

Perhaps clubs should perhaps create more debt instead

I cant believe how many times we are giving the ball away. Now we have been punished for it. Not good at all.

A bitter football fan. Debt is not necessarily a bad thing as long as it is serviceable. Using instant wealth to buy immediate success is where my issue is when the funds are not earned through results.

Funds earned through results?

Is that how Man Utd did it through the years?

I thought it was titles and trophies earned through results.

So if Man Utd do worse, does that mean you haven't earned your money?

Utd's debt wasn't serviceable. Its taken a few 'miracles' to get a grip of things but thats alongside the fact that Utd are a massive cash cow.

Football clubs should be run in a responsible manner full stop. Its way too lazy using some form of sugar daddy.

it is always the supporters of clubs without sugar daddies who complain. :)

The only way you can ever have a truely even playing field, is if you have every team only allowed to spend the same set amount of money

I suspect that if that happens, the premiership will become dull
