I am in Manchester.

Customer service do not have the dates and what you have been told is not correct and i have not heard of any trial for 10 meg running at the moment. That is all i am going to say on the subject.

Thanks guys....appreciated. Could I upgrade on line - without a change in in payment [1mb to2mb] ? What are my chances ? Where would I go online to find this facility ?

10Mbps

I seem to be getting 8-10Mbps down & 240-480kbps up. The upstream seems to be varying a lot more than before, though.

So, is this the infamous upgrade?

I highly doubt that it is the upgrade, I sometimes manage get a boost but then it goes back to normal.
