Probably because the law states that you can't have blue, green or Red lights or reflectors on a vehicle other than an emergency vehicle (Red is OK only on the rear or rear facing)

Been through this argument so many times on the bike forums..

Hopefully the idiot will get done for it

I can't think of any valid reason anyone would want to have blue flashing lights and alternate flashing headlights on a vehicle if it wasn't to try and pretend their car is an unmarked cop car.

I so hope that idiot puts those lights on behind a police car as he will be stopped and fined and he might even have the vehicle confiscated, what a plonker impersonating a police car.

Why do people assume the worst? who's to say that they were only put in the car for the benefit of the video before he put them on his little kids hummer? it was even done on his own driveway.

anyway, the joke was you're supposed to just see the blue side lights first and think it's not so much a problem really, and then see the blue in your face flashing ones later :rolleyes:

So he bought a £50 light control box/blue lights, wired it onto the car loom just so he could strip it out again to put into a childs toy :rofl: Yeah that is a joke... and a not very believable one :rofl:
