They are in discussion for season 13 of Big Bang Theory. It has already been renewed for season 12 and they are now looking beyond that. I assumed it was because Young Sheldon wasn't doing as well as they had hoped (I don't watch it) but the viewing figures for both series are rock solid at 14 million and 13 respectively, taking the No1 and 2 spots for CBS in the US, and Big Bang is only showing a 0.5% decrease in Year on Year viewers so it is still going well. I can't wait to see the news on the pay rises the cast get to keep them in it.

Young Sheldon is very good and way better than Big Bang now.

I watch, and enjoy, both, as does most of my family.

I hope they extend both beyond Season 12 (BBT) & Season 2 (YS).

excellent. For some reason I had it in my head last year that last season was going to be the last season and then when it got renewed I thought this season was going to be the last season. I really enjoy it so it is going to be great being able to watch this season knowing that it isn't going to end.

We will find out the fate of remaining shows next week as all the networks announce the autumn (fall) line ups.

Cobra Kai has been renewed for Season 2.

Rick & Morty has been renewed for 70 more episodes.

---------- Post added at 18:15 ---------- Previous post was at 18:10 ----------

CW have now officially cancelled Valor & Life Sentence.

That just leaves iZombie, which is now very likely to be renewed as they need more programming due to their expansion into the weekend.

NBC have renewed Chicago Fire, Law & Order: SVU, Chicago Med & Chicago PD.

(They really seem to like Chicago ...).

So happy for both of those, although am surprised at 70 episodes for Rick and North.

Damn. Gutted about Brooklyn 99.

Last Man on the other hand hasn't been that great this season.

As Pip says, the 3rd series of The Expanse will be the last on SyFy Channel - the makers (Alcon) will be trying to sell it to other channels.

Re: Renewals & Cancellations

It doesn't sound like the show itself will end though as the article says Syfy only had "first-run linear rights in the US". I'd be surprised if Netflix doesn't gobble that up.
