And who's fault do you think that is, Jose?

They can have Neil Harris though. Maybe Gary Holt to replace Makelele.

(and when you say "ours", precisely which team are you referring to? ;))

Chris, Commons or Porter, although our Chris is on target more often ATM,

Exactly. :tu: He has no right to complain whatsoever. He bought the league twice.

I'd say its the fault of a club who ask for silly money when Chelsea come knocking on their door. If a club sees a player as part of a piece in their 'jigsaw' as such then most managers will want that player at whatever 'affordable' cost. Its clubs like man city wanting 20 odd milion for SWP, tottenham for wanting 18 million for Carrick, etc etc that push up prices.

Remind me, who much did Rio cost when he went to UTD? I didn't see Fergie complaining at the cost, he simply went ahead and bought him, making the transfer one of the highest for a defender. Maybe he's to blame?

Kris Commons is a winger, not a striker. (But, he is being used behind the front 2)

Our strikers are wa** - Tyson, (Grant) Holt and Agogo are good, Lester is past it, Harris, well... and Dobie is all running and no end product.

That said, we also desperately need a left back, a centre back who can play the ball out of defence rather than playing hoof or row z, and a defensive midfielder who protects the back 4 and can pass it to Sammy Clingan. Southall looks past it as well.

Do notice that Sheridan has said that Clingan didn't even foul your guy (It's serious foul play and would be a three game ban - as is Cullip's - Forest are appealing it) and that the first pen wasn't even in the box, but anyway...

Almost £30 million of earned money. And despite some flakey performances, United have stuck by him unlike Chelski who act like kids in a sweet shop, trying different sweets then discarding them when they don't taste nice.

the result last night showed we threw away two points on Sunday against Newcastle. plus the WHU game too

wonder if Villa will be that poor on Sunday when they play us

Put it this way, and as much as it pains me to say it - you are absolutely going to hammer Villa on Sunday. We haven't got any strength in depth, so we're only ever one injury away from knackered.

Kiraly's done alright, but I'll be happier when Sorenson's back, and we desperately need to bring some players in this month

How is Grant Holt doing since you bought him from one of my many teams?;)

To be honest the report in the local paper did slate the ref as well and said it was a ridiculous sending off, but reckoned that the Latics would have still won with ease.

Jim.

well as a Palace fan too I have to say he's not even good enough for the championship

What on earth must the other keepers in Hungary be like if he is the best one :Yikes:

Abramovich earned the money for every player they bought, in fact the only people who got something without paying for it were the Glazers

In fairness, he's not done too bad for us but I agree that he's been known to have some shockers in the past. Maybe he's seen this as his opportunity to prove he's good enough for a move away from Palace

Chelsea didn't earn the money though - and the Glazers weren't responsible for the Rio purchase.

Funny I thought they borrowed the cash to buy the club, it seems to be a trend in football at the moment, to own a club without actually using your own money to buy it
