I think it's currently in M+ and above. It does sound like it's going FTA in the article:

"PBS America will retain its channel slots on Sky and Virgin despite no longer receiving funding from the platforms, and will be available to all the platforms’ subscribers. It will launch on Freesat channel 160 from 1 November"

Thanks, I bet it goes into M from that wording (available to all the platforms' subscribers) as opposed to truly 'FTA' on VM.

PBS is on the TV M+ Package right now.

Media Boy HQ has not seen any news about PBS moving to the M Package on Virgin Media UK.

Thanks mate right now VM is looking like a good option to return back too once my BT contract is up or i'm allowed out of it as not getting full service i'm paying for.
Future warning to anyone thinking the grass is greener with BT, it isn't and i have the grey hairs to prove it lol.

BT has always been shocking and it probably always will be lol

Their broadband is rubbish, not much to their TV service and phone line rental is expensive....in my opinion

My experience differs with broadband , my Infinity 2 has been great far more stable and gives me the same speed day and night however I agree BT's customer service is the worst I've experienced period.

I never had their Infinity as I left them about 5 years ago, but the speed was barely 2meg, now with VM, im constantly near 152meg im paying for.

BT customer service wasn't helpful at all though

Their broadband is great no complaints there, my problem is i've had a tv fault for last 3 months and they are happy charging me for it but i'm getting half the service i pay for lol, it's nothing major just their tv everywhere service that's the issue.
In BTs credit their CEO office so far has been superb they keep me updated but we're all scratching our heads as to what is causing the fault lol.
As i said their broadband infinity1 unlimited has been superb and the hh5 is one of the best routers i've used my tp link wdr3600 loves it and both work happily together lol. (my vpn is on my wdr3600).

I had a similar problem, couldn't watch the euro goals show on the lappie whilst watching a live game on tv - the problem was Chrome. Once I switched to Edge and later to Firefox, no problem. I had loads of problems with Chrome - couldn't log into the bank or national lottery, all smiles now.

They've just cancelled my tv lol i think they're trying a total reset to see if tv everywhere will work then, bit of a pain as currently can't watch anything recorded from internet channels.
I think if this reset doesn't work it may be time to say "enough is enough forget the tv" and have a chat with my friend in USA about adding bein sports to their tv but i cover the $10p/m it'll cost.

Apart from radio stations I (most likely) won't listen to, is there any news of other potential channel launches. Because it has been a rather quiet 2015 for new channels on VM this year, despite the explosive New Year's Day launches of Sky Sports News HQ HD and Sky News HD.

Unless MB knows any different.

So no news about Universal in HD coming soon then? Shame, I'd quite like to watch Major Crimes in HD.

Nothing on that yet i don't know when the current deal is up but hopefully you'll see something happen in 2016 regarding this.
