I'm going by the CEO of Viacom saying that the channel will be available from "The first quarter of 2015". Interestingly, he also said that he "Considers the UK as the second home of Viacom".

The date could have slipped, but Spike TV is currently testing on satellite with a testcard. I hope that it won't stay on the transponder that it's testing on (or that VM won't get their feed via satellite) as there are already too many channels on it, with the resulting loss of picture quality.

Australia has alot of old programs such as the sulivans, prisoner cell block H and many more Australia loves our Scottish soap river city

Well the actual US version of Spike is a great channel and has its own good shows. No idea at all what the UK version is going to show.
