tbh i'm not really bothered. 10 to 20MB isn't going to change my life. 10MB is more than enough for what most people would ever want to do. I can download a DVD's worth of data in 75 mins, an album in under 10mins. I've got 4 pc's in the house (including a gaming son), work laptop, Wii networked, mobiles wified, blue ray networked and rarely have any issues. On the rare occasion i get speed managed 2/3MB is ample for most things including HD iplayer. Reliability is far more important, and touch wood i always get a rock solid 10MB. Higher speeds seem to be more hit and miss.

God only knows what people do with 100MB +. Probably exactly the same things, waste of money imho. Think it's lads 'how fast is yours' inferiority complex type of thing. Look at how many saddo's on here put speed test results in there signatures etc, there's is more to life.......

Please tell Oh wise one, where is this, "MORE TO LIFE"?

Great. I can download a DVD's worth of data in just over ten minutes.

When I've got three hours between coming home from work and going to bed, I don't want to spend over an hour waiting for the download to finish and being left with only enough time to watch half the movie.

50 and a 100 meg, come in handy with PS3 demos on the ps store. Plus we're slowly moving towards digital content with more and more full titled games on the ps and Xbox stores. I bought FIFA 12 digital copy was about 9 gigs worth.

You sound like the kind of driver I want to beat the crap out of always living the life in the slow lane and I end up behind you :p:

Why wait 75 mins when I can have it in 5 and move on with my life while you are stuck around for 75mins thats how I fill in my more to life things

Mr K the SuperHub is now fixed, its not the end of the world. Your "occasional" capping is an understatement and lastly in todays world in the United Kingdom a broadband speed of 10Mb for the said things your household gets up to sucks!

Cabled areas only. Fastest broadband download speeds widely available to consumers according to 2009 - 2011 Ofcom reports. 100Mb customers will see price-cut instead of speed doubling.

Shame no speed doubling for me but a price cut is always nice.

March-April :D Which for us is quite good as generally we are 2/3 the way down the list when it comes to upgrades. But that said March-April but what year ;)

Mind you not really bothered about the speed doubling I get everything done @ 10Mb without issue, think I would rather see a price cut!
