Still think you might have been overridden and putting 30mb on your acc hasn't taken off the override?

Status looks like it should be online. What do the config pages say? (Not got a SH so don't know exactly what they're called, but I mean the ones that tell you your upstream/downstream rate caps and so on)

what I pasted is from those pages, there seems to be just one page now, for connection.

You may want to remove your MAC from your post Chrysalis if that is it.

The last two tables on the Connection screen:

Primary Downstream Service Flow

Primary Upstream Service Flow

Are the ones that say what the SuperHub should be provisioned at

Gah, that wasn't quite it either. There should be a bit at the bottom of the status page saying "Service flow" or similar, like "Primary upstream/downstream service flow".

Anyway here's an example (pulled from VM forums) of what it should look like: link

You did call in and get that thing provisioned Chrys?

It's locked to the VXR right now, if properly provisioned it should then be retuned to the overlay network, which isn't happening.

as I said its activated.

Rang up.
Lady asked me to confirm last 3 digits of mac.
She said done.
Asked if green light on for tick box I said yes.
I noticed offline and status looked whacked, asked her to confirm its working.
She said her end shows good but wait 5 mins.
Ended call.

I guess I need to ring back.

No, its part of the activation .. when its a replacement modem it should be done by the agent on the call ..

Chrysalis 03-02-2011 11:47

Re: 20 Mb/s to 30Mb/s free upgrade

15 minute call with agent scratching head, he said all he could do is keep forcing the new config to modem, worked on 5th attempt.

Nice. Proper QAM16 upload as well now, still Docsis 1 speeds but better than QPSK :)

Wonder how things will hold up and what effect 200mbps of load-balanced downstream will do for your congestion issues

looks like I was indeed overriden before tho on my old modem mac forced to docsis3 rather than a batch of users moved.

So far jitter seems lower but bear in mind ive been seeing slow steady improvements on this anyway as I think VM have been making space on the overlay network. The stand out is the 1.05meg upload, before I unplugged the old modem I did a speedtest and was still only 0.32up.
