Why? If they can make a profit from selling on these channels to the Asian community then good luck to them. And if the asian community is willing to pay for them then why shouldn't they have them?

Why? The Asian channels on VM are very profitable and will mean more choice.

Don't VM actually charge for a couple of channels in the Asian pack that are free on Freesat?

This is the one that I'm waiting for. I've got a Sky box just for this channel and hoping not to have to use it (not really got anywhere to keep it so will have to set it up every weekend)

Hmmm, didn't Setanta Sports want Rugby League last time the TV rights were up for bidding, but Sky still bid more. It will be interesting what happens with ESPN in the bidding this time. I'm guessing Sky will win again, but it's nice to have the bidding war. It can only be good for Rugby League in the end.

It would save me £29.50 a month and I would sleep much easier knowing I'm not paying so much towards footballers daft wages!

I know whos complaining, but whos left out?

More channels are a coming too!

We still don't have a completely unified channel line-up yet which I find bizarre if it's all coming from a single super head-end. It's almost there though ...

NO. Channel Name
917. Radio: RTE Radio
920. Radio: WRN Europe

NOTE: Channels are only broadcasting in Ex-Telewest areas right now.

What possible technical or contractual reason could there be left for not having these two radio channels available in ex-NTL/C&W areas? It's not that I am desperate to have them, it's just that it implies there is still some distinction between the platforms that impacts roll-out of future services.

I'm not sure but TV5 may have news programming in French also.

Personally I find euronews very good as when there is one major news item, either at home (e.g. MP's expenses) or abroad (e.g. the current Egypt crisis), the mainstream UK news channels tend to devote their entire 15 minute slot to that one item before repeating it after the headlines, whereas euronews covers a much wider range of European and international news stories in it's bulletins.

Note: I'm on the XL TV package, your experience may differ!
