Why couldn't Newcastle just go along with 'the plan'?

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
United were below par today, draw was a fair result, to be honest I wouldn't want Park in Rochdale's first team.:(

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
i have no idea what on earth Park brings to the team.. he doesn't even put in any effort.. at least Fletcher and O-Shea try and do something even though they aren't good enough.. Park just runs about looking lost and isn't good enough at this level.. we have very little depth in the squad and need a new striker in Jan, although we have Rossi back.. with Saha out we only have Rooney and Larsson so if one of them gets injured we are in the same boat again
VDS isn't good enough in goal either.. he should have tipped round at least one of them goals yesterday and cost us a goal with Reading too so far the only thing West Ham have done is beat us then been poor the rest of their games |

The bit about Mourinho came from the BBC, it says the story was reported in various newspapers and I agree totally that it would be farcical to sack him because they were struggling (although didn't that happen to Ranieri, finishing second and reaching the Champions league final wasn't good enough then) however now is the time to scrutinise his performance, he probably made it look easy when they were winning every week, the measure of greatness is how you behave when things are going against you |
Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
If the current trend continues, it looks as if Leeds will go down to the Third Division (sorry, Coca Cola Football League One), and Scunthorpe will be promoted to the Second Division (sorry, Coca Cola Football League Championship).
I blame Global Warming/Climate Change/whatever it's called this year. |
Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
Good news this evening.......for united fans anyway
Aston Villa 0-0 Chelsea Quote:
Still some way to go yet though. |
Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
Villa holding Chelski? Who'd have thunk it?

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
Villa were crap but Chelski were as bad. How much they need a goalscorer.

They can have Neil Harris though. Maybe Gary Holt to replace Makelele. (and when you say "ours", precisely which team are you referring to? ;)) |
