Re: Unstoppable migration?
Nothing surprises me at all with all this. And there are people saying that the UK should take in vulnerable children.
So what happens when the children arrive - all of a sudden there parents, are found and bingo. They are allowed to stay in an already over populated UK. One day the UK will tilt an sink, due to overcrowding. We should close our borders NOW. At the present moment this country is being used as a free for all. |

Arthur, the U.K. isn't a seesaw, balanced on a pivot - the likelyhood of our sceptered isle over-balancing is about as likely as you kissing* a picture of Margaret Thatcher before you go to bed each night.... ;)

Re: Unstoppable migration?
Hugh, me 'kissing a picture of MT' at night. You must be joking. I wouldn't waste my breath on her.
She fooled the women of this country, and she put the mining industry through absolute hell. And ruined this country I worked in Mertnr Tydvil, at the time of the miners strike, and it was horrific. Families fighting each other over the strike - and even today, the miners who worked during the strike, are still shunned by the community. I was petrified, when l was there, being a Londoner and them thinking that l was a MT supporter. I would rather smash the picture, and then tread on it. |

Not because it wasn't happening, but because the police and media were told not to mention it. The dirty secret is out now though. All over Europe. |

Re: Unstoppable migration?
I remember a documentary(on channel 4?) from many years ago(10+), where a Labour MP was taken around certain areas in Yorkshire(eg Keighley). There were multiple reports of a "certain section" of the local population harassing the local females on the streets. There were also complaints from a group of old people who had been "forced" out of a park because the attackers considered it their territory. They had moved to another park, and the attacks continued. The cameras caught them red-handed, but the MP put it down to "youthful exuberance". It certainly wouldn't have been called that if it was the other way around. This sort of behaviour has been going on for decades at one level or another, whereever a "certain section" has gathered in a sufficient quantity.

Re: Unstoppable migration?
Denial on the part of those who got us into this mess is no longer an option. All that's left for them now is to pretend they can deal with these problems - deport economic migrants and unsavoury types blah, blah, blah - but we all know that is never going to happen on anything like a significant scale so we're going to reap the chaos which has been sown and things are soon going to get a lot worse as the numbers swell and desperation, resentment, anger set in.

Blimey are they Germany's equivalent of RT then?...
None of this surprises me or many of us I'd suggest. The handling of this crisis has exposed the EU's fatal flaws yet again and it's no surprise to me that those at the heart of Europe will do almost anything to hide the reality of what is being allowed to happen. We've already seen emergency measures in various countries on the basis of security but how long before these measures are used to quell public unease at what's going on. Make no mistake, this problem is massive and the fact that we're not yet seeing anywhere near the full ramifications in the UK should be of no great comfort to us. Unless there's a miracle, things are going to get far worse and trouble is going to spread across Europe whilst people like Merkel cynically instruct their media to turn a blind eye to the mayhem and try to convince their people that nothing's wrong. Once people start to feel the direct effects on their services, jobs, streets, schools, hospitals etc. there's going to be a backlash. It's already happening and it's ugly. The 'welcome' is turning nasty in the extreme and in the US, much of Trump's popularity is based on stopping illegal migration, especially from Mexico where they're facing similar problems to the EU. |
Re: Unstoppable migration?
Once upon a time. a long long time ago. the world was split up into segments.
some good, some bad and some best ignored. one day the bad and the ignored ventured out of their segment and caused mayhem to the rest of the world. eventually the world was no more. everyone was dead because they all killed each other. |
