I agree. The Bridge was terrific. And series two starts on BBC 4 HD on January 4th. One to set a series link for.

Because some people like to watch quality, award winning drama, that is currently not available on VM. Fairly obvious really.

If Sky have implemented such a swap on BBC 2 then their customers in Scotland are being disadvantaged as there are still differences in programming between the SD and HD variants. There are Scotland-only programs still showing on the SD variant.

My source has said MGMHD is not ceasing broadcasting and is looking to expand it's library with a possibility of a SD launch in the near future too.
This MGMHD closing rumour seems to of started on Ds mgms website has tv listings on the 17th Jan and beyond.

Some on here have suggested they would prefer to watch paint drying ahead of the American themed channel I'm no longer going to mention :D
