Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. III.
Discovery may launch full 3D Channel in UK and Ireland.
This came after Discovery licensed its 3D VoD content - some from 3Net - to the UK's BSkyB and Virgin Media despite having gained a license to broadcast a 3D channel in the territory. Discovery plans to see how the shows work before deciding whether to launch a channel, Hollinger added. http://www.c21media.net/resources/de...&article=62350 |
Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. III.
i would be really annoyed if they cancelled the bbc red button, i use that for wimbledon matches.
Why would they need to get rid of them for bandwidth anyway, sky has loads of bandwidth, so does virgin and any new channels on freeview hd would need a new mux unless they are planning to make the video quality even worse for freeview hd and have 5 channels on 1 mux instead of 4. analog will be switched off in around 12 months anyway, so i don't see why the red button needs to go other than cutting costs. |
