Re: Free stuff on the web
Is it not 'Bonny' (Boonies) Scotland?
|
Re: Free stuff on the web
Sorry - to clear this up - i thought that skink4u was confusing bonnies with boonies. Bonnie as in beautiful, and boonies as danief correctly points out is in the sticks.
Spelling was not what i was correcting. Boonies is a Swedish term which i learned from a friend of mine at work. (Well he's Swedish and he used it so i assumed its a Swedish term). I thought that Skunk4u has also heard it and confused it with bonnies. Does that make ANY sense? :D EDIT: See above posts - looks like i was right.... |
Re: Free stuff on the web
I always thought boonies was an abbreviation of boondocks? which was something to do with mountains
Actually first of all I got excited because I thought we were talking about boobies... |

Re: Free stuff on the web
Flippin nora, talk about going off topic ...
Well at least I know what Boonies means, although I'm not sure it applies to a great city like Glasgow? Actually, Skunk was right, if by Bonnies, he means the bonny banks of Loch Lomond, which is where I live. :D Now, has anybody got any more freebie links to post? |
