Well done Bill.

It always seemed to me that many of the people who ntl make redundant are able to walk straight into jobs, whilst I feel many of the ones who avoid redundancy continually would probably not have the skills to do the same.

Well good luck.

I too might have a job lined up, after 6-months one of the agencies I'm signed up with say it has companies that want Technical Librarians.

When have I ever questioned your abilities? I was thinking specific and not general.

I think we all know that there appears to be a certain in-crowd who survive at the expense of others. I do have sympathy for good people in certain ntl departments that seem to go through this threat at least once a year, and usually just before christmas.

I suppose that whilst on the subject of bullshi**ers and blaggers, I could just mention that I have managed this week to blag myself a very well paid job just 6 miles from home.:D

Best of luck Bill,
I left Ntl in October 2004, although I can't say it's been an easy 2005, it has certainly been much better working for myself than working for the Ntl penny pinching management, who cannot see staff as anything other than numbers on spreadsheets to be trimmed and got rid off as much as possible
