I could easily go years without watching it TV, funnily enough when I split up with the now ex wife in 2007 one of the last things I watched was an episode of eastenders where Bianca was shouting at ricky and when I got that TV in 2012 one of the first things we watched on it was eastenders where bianca was shouting at ricky, it was like those 5 years had never happened so switched it back off and haven't watched that show since. I prefer radio but even that's not what it was sadly. |

I'm certainly not one of them!
If they offed the BBC now I'd save the licence fee and get my news from the Torygraph and GB News. Anyone can make nature programmes (and Attenborough will in any case peg it soon); anyone can do music; anyone can do antique programs. Those anyones won't be woke lefties. |

Re: TV Licence “Unenforceable”?
We really don't need the BBC. Someone should look at this objectively.
If it stopped operating tomorrow, what would we miss? There are many news channels/outlets; drama can be produced by anyone; Attenborough will soon have expired; and so on. Problem is, with the establishment, dumping the BBC would be unthinkable. |
