I'll take this as a no.

It might make me adjust our package, I have no intention of subscribing to TNT. I watch a lot of Eurosport and it suited being part of a general channel package, I don’t do premium sports channels, I don’t watch enough to justify the cost.

Yup, an attempt to bring Pay TV to Digital Terrestrial sitting alongside Freeview, offering bits of channels rather than full ones and overnight bits that the box recorded due to the space limitations of DTT.

Interesting concept. Wasn’t a subscriber personally.

I too remember TUTV, but also never used it. Didn't it come about because Sky were refused permission to launch 'Picnic'?

I think a fair few won't start to subscribe to TNT Sports in order to continue to receive the Eurosport content. They will be losing the revenue from Sky/Virgin for Eurosport, yet find it won't be replaced by subscribers taking the standalone TNT Sports channels.

Many have said that they should have renamed Eurosport to something like TNT Sports Extra and left them as basic channels or introduced a lower, cheaper tier to TNT Sports premium.

Apparently, on Quest only some MotoGP will be covered in full, with the rest being bits and bats of other sports.

One way round it is to watch Eurosport for free on 19.2°. It helps if you know a bit of German, but it's not essential to follow the sports it shows.

Cula 4 is a timeshare with TG4 so it's on VM in N Ireland

VEVO is merging with their owners app.

You may know them - It's a wee company called YouTube.

I thought they’d merged/been bought by someone else. I vaguely recall not recognising the app’s name. It wasn’t Google.

I didn’t have either the time or inclination to look into it at the time though.

I would have went the Basics route if I were them, it would act as a barker channel but also allow for the extended coverage some sports require that being part of General Entertainment channel wouldn’t, and get a little income from the Basics subscription package.

Not in the UK.

SYFY content tends to be shown on Sky Sci-Fi or Sky Max. The kind of content that aired on Hallmark is in various places.

I never said in the UK, just that they still exist. ;)

I can watch either via IPTV, the channel list does include "SYFY UK" (not watched it to see what its showing).

Someone from Dublin has said that he doubts this is correct as TG4 broadcasts 24/7 and that, on Saorview (DTT), Cúla4 timeshares with TG4 +1.

Given this is cableforum.UK the availability of channels in other countries is of no relevance to the conversation whatsoever.

does anyone think the next premier league deal will be the last one? premier league streaming as an app has to be from 2032 surely?

No need to be an ass about it.
What is of relevance to this forum is not your decision.

We don't get the+1 variant on cable and I can assure you that Cula 4 is on my guide in the morning slot for 877 TG4
