Senior Labour figures dropping like flies, this must be the post Brexit plague that the remainers forecast. :)

Arise the 'New SDP'?...

Time for a New Labour.

D. Milliband has arrived just in time to be parachuted into Jo Cox's seat.

Leadership challenge straight after.

He'll need a nice catchy name for his newly reborn party - 'New New Labour' perhaps. :D

The Labour Party and its followers can be blamed for the entire scenario the country now finds itself in.

The Labour party forgot who they are supposed to be representing. Politcal correctness and fear to call out the failed immigration policy that impacted the Labour heartlands for fear of being branded racist gave rise to UKIP.

Because UKIP then also threatened the Tory vote, this forced the Torys to offer a referendum in order to head off UKIP.

The Torys won and then had to offer the referendum. Labour supporters voted in Corbyn who was incapable of running a bath let alone a partyfailed to inspire the Labour vote to remain as it was blatently obvious he wanted to leave.

And here we are.

It's all Labours fault.

Bit simplistic, but pretty much correct especially this bit.

Until they remember who they are supposed to be, this drama will continue for a long time.

You misunderstand his post, deliberately I suspect. The reporting of Corbyn supporters angrily shouting slogans outside parliament will not help his cause at all.

You may want to think about that when complaining about those people who aren't happy about the referendum result rather than demanding they 'get over it', or the next time you badger someone because they aren't giving you the answers you want to hear.

Answering your post:

I think Momentum are cuckoo and Corbyn electoral poison. Internal Labour polling and external opinion polls indicate this to be the case. I think this protest will just further deepen divides and worsen the situation. I think it's an incredibly bad idea for Labour MPs to be addressing protests against other Labour MPs.

I didn't question their right to do it.

I have a special interest in it due to the Labour Party membership card in my wallet, and the fact my MP is Hilary Benn, a man who I've met a number of times and hold in very high esteem even though we disagree on some things.

That's all I have to say beyond that this was a one-off response as this was a different thread, and I perhaps stupidly thought you had something of value to add to the conversation so hit the 'View Post' link.

More fool me.

I think the subject is more important then the title to be honest and this is getting a bit silly now all very modern labour though. This could create a huge problem for labour in the upcoming leadership election (I know it isn't official but it's got to happen) puts corbyn back in on the votes of ordinary members and likely the unions. What do labour MPs do then will they resign as MPs en masse very volatile situation and the last thing the country needs right now.

Corbyn is struggling to find somebody to fill the Scottish brief with the resignation of their only MP north of the border.

You can vote me out.

I think he may pick someone from the "Grandad parliament" (House of Lords) to fill the Scottish brief. With they number 2 sitting in the the House of Commons.
