Pure Speculation but I would assume that may be the case because they will want to know that said hardware is stable with the faster speeds.

Who knows, we may even get IPv6!

Guess we will find out.

Given that it's a broadband hardware trial, I'm going to suggest that it's a trial of Broadband hardware.

I'm in too, hopefully its not a wifi sharing thing. It would be the first thing i'd turn off.

I would recommend having a look at the other members of the Liberty Global family and seeing what they are providing for their higher end speeds.

That is going to be on new and existing kit. It will also have no impact on your own speeds.

Maybe but there is no need for it. Load/stress testing can be done in VM's labs with a full set of channels more effectively.
