Lots of posts trying to argue the UKIP councillor is innocent until proven guilty. Why bother when the UKIP leader is happy with this kind of thing:

nigel-farage-defends-ukip-candidates-racist-remark

I think the UKIP bubble is deflating .. nice :)

Not from me, I just want to know what she said

Clearly UKIP are starting to batten down the hatches in an attempt to keep internal affairs just that.

Aside from this particular situation and the various earlier suspensions and dismissals over entirely inapproprite comments recently there has been the suspension of the entire Lambeth Branch where "Ukip declined to say what the investigation will look into or why it was launched" and the advice from Steve Crowther that UKIP members shouldn't join Twitter or Facebook.

Perhaps they are starting to realize that they are being, and will continue to be, held to account for the actions and comments of their membership.

Man in the pub politics is fine in the pub, it's a different matter altogether when you are seeking a mandate from the electorate.

And this will lead to people claiming they're no longer fun and will move on to the next bunch of right-wing "England for the English" brain donors, most likely "Britain First".

Does that make plaid Cymru and the SNP followers brain donors as well?

So, a political party member puts their foot in their mouth and gets expelled - not excaly a new thing is it ?

Can you recall another political party member being expelled under the terms of a non-existent rule from their party constitution for unpublished / unbroadcast comments?

You'd think if that was false she'd want to express her innocence.
