Good stuff. Just saved me a few pennies and sped up my broadband speed by going on the Big Kahuna.

So no new channels launched on Tuesday, is anything going to launch before the end of the year channel wise? If there is, probably a new shopping channel or some such rubbish.

Possibly yes, VM are concentrating on broadband and repackaging channels and bundles at the moment it seems.
Don't rule out any new channel launches this year.

Yes, But Old Boy, does this mean that this new deal is for current customers, NOT for new customers.

I believe the best thing for customers of VM or BT or Sky, is the cost. is to offer 'cheapness' in the market.

Things are tough financially, for everyone BUT, áll bills go up. So companies should realise this instead of making massive profits, like Sky, there profits have been very high.

It's for existing customers now, and will be extended to new customers at the end of the month (I believe).

I have just changed from Premiere to Big Kahuna, and I save around £8 per month and go from 60Mb/s to 152Mb/s - result!!

I'm thinking of giving them a call, I'm out of contract next month, currently on the premiere collection. Was it quite straight forward when you called them?

It was when I did it. Although took a while to summarise the new contract to me.

I did get the feeling that it was a bit "which offer do you know about?" sort of thing.

Big Kahuna suits me. I'll be switching the sports off for the summer too.

Had exactly the same reaction on the phone. They tried to sell me the Big Kahuna deal at £90 until I pointed out I had the deal in front of me, on their website. Also when I said I'd take the £45 deal she immediately gave me £10 off for the first 6 months as well. Ta very much I said. :)

I wonder if I could save any money?

4x TiVO
120mb Broadband (upgrade is later this year)
XL TV
Sky Sports & Movies
Sky Premium HD
Talk Unlimited

Paying around £135 a month!

One of your problems is you are paying quite a bit for every extra TiVo and remember Sky's premium channels ain't cheap either but you want to give them a tinkle to see if you can get a better deal..

No, it took a bit of patience - I eventually asked them (after 27 minutes) to transfer me to Retentions, which they did, and it was sorted out in five minutes (I didn't threaten to leave, I just explained to Retentions that I would like the deal offered on the Web, and they did it).
