Re: [MERGED] Windows 8 discussion
Any idea how long the discount offer is available for? I bought a new Sony touchscreen PC a few weeks ago and am still considering what to do about upgrading to W8. As has been already said, I don't want to just dive in and then find out I don't like it and it's a whole heap of hassle getting back to Win7.

Re: [MERGED] Windows 8 discussion
I would buy it now while it's cheap, then wait to hear the disaster stories before installing

I'm doing a system image and backing up other stuff just in case so I can hopefully download and set it all up tomorrow.

Re: [MERGED] Windows 8 discussion
The £25 price is a download linked to your Microsoft account so you couldn't sell that on.
