No it isn't jovial at all I'm afraid. They both make a habbit of being insulting.

Not at all. Mods (and friends) ganging up to try and force people out of threads. You personally do it quite often.

I hadn't said anything personal about anyone, yet you and Maggy both decided to verbally attack me for no reason.

Before you tell me to stop it, have a look at the history, and you will see what I mean.

Ok, enough. Tim, if you have a problem with a specific post. please use the report post button. Do not discuss it in the thread. The same goes for everyone.

Everyone: The subject of the thread is "the truth about supermarket bargains". Please stick to it.

Before you start joining in the bullying from the mods.

This is the last piece of nonsense I will tolerate from you.

No one is "bullying" you be it staff or members. If you are so unhappy and cannot get on with other members disagreeing with you then I suggest you need to step away and/or leave. In fact, if you continue to disrupt the harmony of the site as you are currently doing then I may just make the decision for you, and terminate your membership.

Out of curiosity, where do you think that the wholesalers get their stock from? They work just as much with promotions as the supermarkets (and the independants, for that matter) - they just start at a lower price because of the amounts that they can actually have on sale at any one time.

I speak as someone who's worked in the food industry for 15 years, for suppliers to both retail and wholesale (with a 4 year stint in independants) - they all work on promotional activity, as that's what people (ie the customer) likes to see. Everybody knows that supermarkets put the bread right in the far corner from the entrance, so that you have to walk past everything else to get to it - ever noticed that your local corner shop does the same? Mine certainly does...

With respect, I am in no way 'bullying' you, and I certainly take no offence in anything you've said - however, you must accept that there are areas where certain people have greater expertise than others. Without wishing to advertise your website particularly, you evidently have much more knowledge in your field than I do, but that does work both ways :)
