Me and Xaccers were discussing whether he was saying that he thought christianity was open minded as if it's a requirement of that religion.

Neither of us have said that it is either fully open minded or fully closed minded.

You pick up on words and phrases too much :D

If you don't wish to be misunderstood, you should try to post what you mean to post, not what you think you didn't mean to post and then have to explain what you posted actually meant something else by amending it later.........;)

Since there is no "body language" to read on a forum, in the immortal words of Boyzone "words are all we have", and people read what you type, not what you meant to type.:D

For instance, if I posted but I meant you can see how the qualifier (fully) actually changes the statement to mean something completely different. :)

It seems you should read his posts with one eye closed whilst humming a tune, that way you don't get bogged down facts and truth, I found that if you transpose every other word it brings a certain clarity to Gary's posts.;)

Officially there aren't, seeing as Synod does not recognise them.

But there are in reality, so the Synod can "not recognise" all it wants - perhaps it needs to face reality, rather than hoping if it ignores it long enough it will go away. ;)
