I wondered that. When the polls are translated to seats on the basis of a uniform swing I wonder how do they know which seats are safe? Do they base it on a swing from the popular vote from the previous election and just impost it nationwide?

Not that I'm suggesting for a second that postal votes might not be 100% secure...

It was a properly designed Tory ploy, and it worked.

The question asked in the poll doesn't distinguish how badly or not they thought of him beforehand. It also doesn't establish whether the people being asked knew the full details of what was said.

Opening statements ... Gord is tripping over his own tongue, shouting, talking too fast. Basically he's panicking!

And in the following 10 minutes all he has to say is 'David's got it wrong, David's got it wrong.' Labour clearly now has nothing at all to say about the merits of its own policies. All it has left is desperate moves to scare people out of voting Tory.

He keeps trying to scare people and he's failing. Brown is finished

Cameron smackdown on Brown: "You heard it yourself - if you earn more than £20,000, Gordon considers you to be rich."

OUCH!

Nick Clegg (For the 3rd or 4th time) "There they go again!"

No Nick, there you go again trying to score the same point over and over and over and over..... He's a like a retarded parrot.

I like Dave slipping in there about Gordo's fictious defence budget figures.

... however, for my money, Clegg is still doing the best job of rising above it. He's giving a very good account of himself at the moment.

i don't think either Cameron or Brown are doing themselves any favours at all keep having digs at each other ,Clegg seems to be the only one answering the questions with any sort of meaning
