It says here that Arsenal want to double the average age of their squad with the £4m capture of 31-year-old Werder Bremen man Torsten Frings.

Brilliant player.

Cesc Fabregas has said he would love to see his Spain team-mate David Villa playing at Arsenal.

He's not the only one!

Barcelona have joined Real Madrid in the competition to sign Hibernian forward Steven Fletcher. (The Sun)

Stories about Real being interested in this guy have been going round for months but Barcelona to! How good is this guy?

Roma are stepping up their bid for West Ham United midfielder Freddie Ljungberg. (Tuttosport 1342 BST)

Good, lets hope it's true

Cristiano Ronaldo has again teased his Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson by saying: "I just love playing in all white," after Portugal's victory against the Czech Republic on Wednesday. (Daily Star)

OMG what a comedian, seriously sell the ungreatful little ****, after the club and fans stood by him whilst he was a show pony and the winker incident, to show such disrespect is mind blowing.

I seriously doubt it's true that he said that, it's only the star who have reported it so it's unlikely.

Didn't Wenger say at the end of last season he would be bringing in experianced players because that is what they were lacking?

If the press is to be believed, then I say "let him go", just so long as we can have Sneijder in return, then buy Berbatov with the cash left over I would be happy.

Real Madrid are waiting for Cristiano Ronaldo to publicly say he wants to leave Manchester United to join them. "As soon as he says he wants to play for Real Madrid there will be conversations between the two clubs," says Real's director general of the presidency, Miguel Angel Arroyo. (Spanish sports paper Marca, 1045 BST)

Getting more than a bit bored with this story now, heard on the radio that the winker has told one of his international team mates that he loves United, loves Fergie but hates Manchester, wonder why he stayed for four or five years then

Inter Milan are to bid £6.6m for Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard within the next 48 hours. (The Sun)

Not much for Fat Frank. Maybe Chelsea dropped the price when this picture got around lol

It's probably because he's in last year and can probably buy out his contract for a lot less. Judging by what you pay nowadays for decent midfielders I'd say anything under 10million for Frank would be a bargain.
