Temperature has really dropped here. Had to hunt out a body warmer. The floorboards are going to be coming up at this rate :D

I know you are all dying to know; It has been snowing in East London. Only lasted about 30-60 mins, and it didn't settle, so no snowball fights for me in the morning it seems.

Just stepped into my back garden for the first time since the weekend. About 5-6 inches deep! And to think - I would have been at work today had it not been for the blessed shift swap!

Hardly anything when I left the house this morning (just a light coating on the windscreen).

Unfortunately, Scunthorpe appeared to grind to a halt - it took me about 30 minutes to get to the M181 (approx 30 miles), but then 2½ hours to get from there to work (about another 5 miles) :mad: - I wouldn't mind, but there seemed to be more snow in the air while I was just sat there, than there was on the ground in the first place :mad: :mad:

keeping fingers crossed we don't get any more and you don't have a repeat on the way home.

So far there has been a couple of flurries, but nothing has settled - it's quite nice watching big black clouds sailing along over the river - and dumping their contents on the other side ;)
